Rock reprobates Rammstein are heading to cinemas worldwide in March 23rd, as Jonas Åkerlund’s new concert film Rammstein: Paris gets a one-off theatrical release courtesy of Picturehouse Entertainment.

Shot at Paris Bercy in March 2012, the film captures the band in full flow – a 140 minutes show shot with 30 cameras, and edited – according to Åkerlund – with the ferocity of the three minute music video. A year in the editing, this approach – as well as Rammstein’s notorious stage spectacle – should make for quite the experience on the big screen.

“Concert films are always a big challenge,” says Åkerlund. “I compare it to shooting fireworks. The way I approach it is to try to translate the energy that you get in the room onto film, using every trick in the book to make as much of an impression as I can on the audience.”

Tickets for this one-night-only screening are available now. Visit www.rammstein-paris.com for full details of venues and to secure your seat.
